The NSS UNIT (B-08) of our college organized NSS Special Camp between 17th to 23rd November 2023 to Umroli Village, Palghar, Maharashtra. The theme of this camp was Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan. A total number of 53 NSS volunteers attended the camp.
Objective:
The goal of NSS special camp was to encourage the volunteers to work along with the adults in rural areas, thereby developing their character, social consciousness and commitment, discipline and healthy and helpful attitudes towards the community.
Outcomes:
NSS special camp helped the volunteers to grow individually and also as a group to become confident, develop leadership skills, and learn about different people from different walks of life. Volunteers are ready to volunteer for various tasks under NSS activities as a result of NSS special camp.
