On 4th November 2023, The NSS UNIT (B-08) of our college in association with United Way Mumbai organized a session on ‘two wheeler safe riding training – Helmets 4 Life’ to raise the importance of safe riding and wearing helmet while driving. A total number of 15 NSS and 30 non-NSS volunteers participated in this session.
Objective:
This session was aimed to promote safe two-wheeler riding by educating teenagers about the importance of wearing helmets for safety, creating awareness about safe riding practices & motivating them to follow compliance norms, with the ultimate goal of reducing two-wheeler road accidents.
Outcomes:
Our NSS volunteers & students received safety helmets at the end of the session to reduce the number of road accidents and make our roads safer for driving practices as a result of this session.
