Uttar Bhartiya Sangh Junior College of Commerce & Science successfully organized the FYJC Orientation Programme on 15 July 2026 to welcome the newly admitted First Year Junior College students and their parents. The programme aimed to familiarize students with the institution’s academic environment, rules and regulations, support services, and opportunities for holistic growth.
The programme commenced with the Saraswati Vandana and the ceremonial Lamp Lighting, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom. The event was anchored by Mr. B. D. Mishra, who welcomed the dignitaries, students, and parents.
In her inspiring address, the Principal encouraged students to embrace discipline, integrity, and excellence while making the most of the academic and co-curricular opportunities available at the college. The address emphasized the importance of developing not only academic competence but also strong values, leadership qualities, and professional skills.
An overview of the institution was presented by Ms. Priyanka Vishwakarma, who highlighted the college’s vision, mission, academic achievements, infrastructure, and student-centric initiatives. The faculty members were then introduced, helping students and parents become acquainted with the teaching team.
Informative sessions on the Academic Rules and Examination System, Student Discipline and Code of Conduct, and the various Student Support Services and Committees provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the college’s academic processes and campus life. Students were also introduced to opportunities available through the Sports Committee, Cultural Committee, Educational Visit Committee, Anti-Ragging Committee, and other student support initiatives.
The session on Career Guidance and Future Opportunities offered valuable insights into higher education pathways, career planning, skill development, and emerging opportunities after junior college. An inspiring highlight of the programme was the sharing of experiences by senior students, who motivated the new entrants by reflecting on their academic journey and personal growth at the institution.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the Principal, faculty members, students, parents, and all those who contributed to the successful organization of the event.
The FYJC Orientation Programme served as an excellent platform to introduce students to the college’s culture of academic excellence, discipline, and holistic development.
