Uttar Bharatiya Sangh Junior College of Commerce & Science celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India on 15th August 2026 with immense enthusiasm, patriotic fervour, and a deep sense of national pride.
The celebration commenced with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony and Rashtra Salute, followed by a disciplined and impressive March Pass by the students. The programme also featured the felicitation of dignitaries, inspiring speeches, a melodious patriotic song, and vibrant dance performances by the students, reflecting their talent, creativity, confidence, and patriotic spirit.
A significant highlight of the celebration was the administration of a Special Anti-Cheating Pledge. The students solemnly pledged to refrain from copying or using any unfair means during the forthcoming Board Examinations, in accordance with the directions of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. The initiative reinforced the importance of honesty, integrity, self-confidence, and academic ethics.
The celebration concluded with an inspiring address by the Guest of Honour, who emphasised the responsibilities of the younger generation towards the nation, followed by a Vote of Thanks.
The programme served as a meaningful platform to celebrate India’s freedom while nurturing the values of patriotism, unity, discipline, responsibility, honesty, and academic integrity among students. It was a memorable celebration that beautifully combined national pride with value-based education.
