Report on the DLLE First Term Training Programme (Academic Year 2026–2027)

The Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension (DLLE) of Mahendra Pratap Sharada Prasad Singh College of Arts, Commerce and Science successfully organized the First Term Training Programme for the Academic Year 2026–2027 on 20th July 2026. The programme commenced at 11:00 a.m. in Room No. 201 under the guidance of the DLLE Convenor, Mr. Ghanshyam Jha.
The primary objective of the training programme was to orient student volunteers and Extension Work Teachers to the vision, objectives, guidelines, and community outreach initiatives of the Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension. The session provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of the extension activities to be undertaken during the academic year and emphasized the importance of social responsibility, community engagement, and experiential learning.
During the session, the DLLE Convenor, along with the student coordinators, explained the various extension projects, their objectives, implementation process, and expected outcomes. Students were guided on the selection of projects, fieldwork requirements, documentation procedures, submission of progress reports, and the criteria for earning academic extension credits. The importance of maintaining discipline, regular participation, and timely completion of assigned activities was also highlighted.
An interactive question-and-answer session was conducted at the end of the programme, enabling student volunteers to seek clarification on their roles, responsibilities, and project-related procedures. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students and effectively addressed their queries.
The training programme concluded on a positive note, equipping the participants with the necessary knowledge and motivation to actively engage in community development initiatives. The orientation laid a strong foundation for the successful implementation of DLLE activities during the Academic Year 2026–2027.
