
Training and Placement Cell Organizes Orientation Programme in Collaboration with TNS India Foundation

The Training and Placement Cell of Mahendra Pratap Sharada Prasad Singh College of Commerce and Science, in collaboration with TNS India Foundation, successfully organized an Orientation Programme for the final-year students on 3rd July 2026. The programme aimed to introduce students to a comprehensive employability enhancement initiative designed to equip them with industry-relevant skills and improve their career readiness.
The session commenced with a warm welcome, followed by an introduction to the programme’s integrated learning approach, which focuses on developing 21st-century competencies through the effective integration of technology, finance, and professional skills.
The guest speaker, Mr. Aryan Gawde, was felicitated by the Training and Placement Cell Officer, Mr. Rehan Dilshad, in recognition of his valuable contribution to the programme.
Addressing the students, Mr. Aryan Gawde presented a detailed overview of the training curriculum, highlighting key learning modules such as Digital Literacy, Interview Readiness, Financial Markets, Portfolio Management, FinTech, SQL, Power BI, Advanced Excel, and AI Tools. He also explained the programme guidelines, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a minimum of 80% attendance, successfully completing the Baseline Learning (BL) and Endline Learning (EL) assessments, and submitting all assigned coursework. Students were further introduced to the application-based learning methodology, which includes technical training sessions, mock personal interviews, and mock group discussions to enhance practical skills and professional confidence.
The orientation also showcased the programme’s outcome-oriented approach, emphasizing benefits such as 100% placement assistance, the TNS Training Completion Certificate, and improved employability opportunities in the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) and FinTech sectors. The session effectively familiarized students with the programme structure, clarified expectations, and motivated them to actively participate in the forthcoming training activities.
The programme concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, during which students’ queries were addressed comprehensively. The event ended with a formal vote of thanks, marking the successful completion of an informative and inspiring orientation programme.
