First Year Orientation Programme

The First Year Orientation Programme of Mahendra Pratap Sharada Prasad Singh College of Commerce and Science was organized to welcome and orient the newly admitted students. The programme began with a welcome address by the Cultural Head, followed by an inspiring speech by the Principal, encouraging students to strive for academic excellence and actively participate in curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities.
Representatives from the academic departments of B.Sc, B.Com, B.M.S., Information Technology (IT), and Computer Science (CS), along with the NSS Cell, DLLE, Cultural Committee, Entrepreneurship Cell, Placement Cell, Women’s Development Cell (WDC), Career Katta, and Grievance Redressal Committee, presented PowerPoint presentations introducing students to their respective departments and committees. They also briefed students on the college facilities, academic programmes, student support services, rules and regulations, and the guidelines of the University of Mumbai.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by the NSS Programme Officer, expressing gratitude to the principal, faculty members, committee representatives, staff, and students for their valuable support and participation.
