International Yoga Day Celebration at Mahendra Pratap Sharada Prasad Singh College of Commerce and Science

Mahendra Pratap Sharada Prasad Singh College of Commerce and Science celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm on 20th June in Room No. 201. The event witnessed active participation from students, NSS Unit B-08 volunteers, teaching and non-teaching staff, and members of the college administration.

The programme was organized by NSS Programme Officer Mr. Vishal Singh, NSS Unit B-08 volunteers, and Sports Department In-charge Mr. Sonawane under the guidance of Principal Dr. Swati Parab.

The celebration commenced with an informative session highlighting the significance of International Yoga Day and the importance of integrating yoga into daily life for physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Participants actively engaged in various yoga asanas and pranayama techniques aimed at improving flexibility, concentration, relaxation, and overall health.

The session successfully created awareness about the numerous benefits of yoga and inspired participants to adopt a healthy and balanced lifestyle. The enthusiastic involvement and positive spirit of all attendees contributed to making the event a meaningful and successful celebration.

Through such initiatives, the college continues to promote health, wellness, and holistic development among students, fostering a culture of well-being and self-discipline.
